We make in the neighborhood of 200 burritos each first Saturday and have been known to run out before 10:00. So come and get a free warm and fresh made breakfast and have a great start to your day!

This week’s Gospel message comes from Matthew 5: 13-20. Matthew continues the story of the Sermon on the Mount. This week Jesus talks about salt and light. “You are the salt of the earth and you are the light of the world.” In ancient times salt and sun were the two most valuable needs in the lives of the folks during that time. Salt would preserve their food and Roman soldiers were often paid in salt., but only if they were “Worth their salt.” In John Jesus says that He, Himself is the light of the world, but in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us that “WE are the light of the world.” Come this Sunday and find out just what Jesus means by these two very important and basic needs of salt and light and how we, as salt and light, are not only useful but valuable.
