Hi everyone! Pastor Gaylene here! Did any of you ever see the funny little clip of Johnny Depp in his pirate costume running down the beach and the caption said, “Be a pirate they said. It’ll be fun, they said!” Well that has been me this week. I have been busy with writing, studying and editing and visiting with families. And one trip back to the church in Springtown to pick up my robe and stole to officiate a celebration of life service tomorrow Please understand. I love doing these things. These are just a part of the many joys of being a pastor. They just don’t usually happen all in the same week.
Having said all of that I just want to invite each of you to worship this coming Sunday. We are a come as you are, all are welcome, coffee drinking congregation where we not only celebrate The Lord’s Supper, but coffee as the third sacrament!
Worship begins at 9:00 at Hope Lutheran Church in Springtown, Texas for the next two Sundays. Regular Sunday School and Worship will return on September 13; Sunday School at 9:00 for all ages and Worship to follow at 10:00. Sooooo…
