Hi everyone! Pastor Gaylene here! Wow! Has this been a wacky April or what? This week I have gone from sweaters and jeans to short sleeve shirts, jeans and sandals! Welcome to Texas.
This week’s message is a story we have all heard…The Good Shepherd. This time we are going to figure out the riddles Jesus tells these disciples to help them figure out how important it is to follow Him. You know in my reading this week I discovered just how much like sheep we can be. Sheep are dirty. Sheep rarely walk in a straight line. Sheep are social animals. If they stray to a pond to get a drink their wool will become saturated with water and they can’t get out on their own. So they need a shepherd that they know to rescue them. And Jesus who is The Shepherd speaks in riddles. Come on Sunday and let’s sort out this important story and find out just who Jesus is talking about!

10:00-11:15 (ish) Communion is served each Sunday and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table of grace, mercy and forgiveness. And this week we will be welcoming a new member!

May 12, 10:00—we finish. Blessing Bag Ministry. We will be loading bags filled with perishable foods, socks, bandanas, personal items. Items needed are plastic silverware, bar soap, tuna packets, cheese/peanut butter crackers and Oats and Honey granola bars or other such snack bars.
