Hope Is Alive

Hi! Pastor Gaylene here!

Happy Third Day of Christmas! I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas. I was able to spend Christmas at my home church of Advent for Christmas Eve. I saw friends that I only get to see a few times a year. Christmas Eve service was especially touching and the candlelight service always makes me cry when we sing Silent Night. We had Christmas with our family and that is always the best.

This week at Hope there will not be a message. There will be a special performance in place of a sermon. Our Hope Thespians will be presenting a dramatic performance titled, The Christmas Guest. These folks have been in rehearsal for quite a while and this promises to be a wonderful performance. You won’t want to miss this special performance.

The traditional parts of the service will be in place including the Celebration of Holy Communion. All are welcome at the Table of Grace, mercy and forgiveness. So, if you are looking for a place to worship with a community that is welcoming, friendly, helpful and fun to be around then I urge you to consider coming to Hope Lutheran in Springtown, TX. We are a comfortable, casual dress congregation so come as you are. You are welcome here!

Sunday Schedule
9:00–9:45 Sunday School for all ages.

We look forward to seeing you there. Come as you are. Come and fellowship.

And the coffee pot is always hot!

See you Sunday,

PGC (Pastor Gaylene Chrystie)
