🎒 Blessing Bags Ministry

At Hope Lutheran Church, we are proud to partner with the Center of Hope in Springtown and Azle to support neighbors in need across our community.

Through our Blessing Bags ministry, we gather, pack, and deliver bags packed with essential items, including:

Non-perishable food items to help fill basic nutritional needs including:

• • • Bottled water, electrolyte drink packets, granola bars, cracker packs.  If any canned items are donated, please make sure a can opener is not needed.
    • Personal care items and other essential supplies.

Seasonal needs based on the time of year:

November-December-January

• • • Warm socks, hand-crocheted hats, and gloves.
    • Hot hands, mylar emergency blankets

Year round – but highly needed in the summer months:

• • • Bug spray, sunscreen, bandanas

🤝 How You Can Get Involved

Monthly Packing Gatherings: Join us once a month on the second Tuesday as members of Hope Lutheran and partner congregations meet to sort items, pack bags, and prepare them for delivery.

Donate Items: Contributions of non-perishable food consumable items and self-care items are always welcome and deeply appreciated.  Bring items to the church by the second Tuesday of the month.

Whether you can lend a hand for an hour during our monthly packing sessions or donate supplies, your support brings hope and comfort directly to those who need it most!
